CREATIVE CAMPUS

University of Pennsylvania - Morris Arboretum

  • Aired: 08/26/2009
  • 06:01
  • Rating: NR
The wealthy brother and sister, John and Lydia Morris, willed their Chestnut Hill estate to the University of Pennsylvania in 1932. That makes it an accredited, knowledge-based museum of horticulture. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the arboretum offers a display garden, organic sculptures, outdoor minature railway and bird watching classes.
