Gun Theft in Rail Yard Raises Questions

More than 100 guns were stolen from a Norfolk Southern freight train on the South Side.

There is growing concern about the safety of some dangerous cargo that passes through Chicago on a daily basis. One alderman says she wants answers from the Norfolk Southern Rail Line after two recent incidents where train cars were broken into and shipments of guns were stolen. The aldermen, Chicago police, and federal investigators worry it is becoming a weapons pipeline for the wrong hands.
