Eight games will be played in the Meadowlands, more than at any other site

While the next World Cup will feature games throughout North America, no site will host more games than MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford. New York New Jersey Stadium, as it will be known during the competition — according to FIFA rules on corporate-named stadiums --  is getting ready for eight matches in 2026, including the final.
