The governor started his speech by honoring the legacies of Bill Pascrell and Donald Payne Jr.
Both passed away this year.
He went on to focus on the state's future, highlighting the importance of affordability and economic progress for new Jersey as we head into 2025.
The governor, promising to support municipal leaders in his last year, stressing the importance of providing grants for affordable housing and emergency response.
Expanding pre-K across the state by adding more than a thousand seats to Jersey's classrooms.
Noting that the state also made full payment into its pension system for the fourth consecutive year, Murphy noted his commitment to training the public workforce in artificial intelligence by launching a new website offering personalized training to any public sector worker, free of charge, after years of travel disruptions from a pandemic.
Just supply chain disruptions to inflation to two full on wars, our families are still being battered by high costs.
And this is not good for any of us.
But it is a reminder that we cannot slow down for a second when it comes to delivering real economic drivers to the people in New Jersey.
