ArtZine
Alzheimer’s and Art
Clip | 1m 39s
A new program allows Alzheimer's patients to dive into art in hopes to recall memories.
The Columbus Museum of Art and the Central Ohio Alzheimer’s Association have come together to create a program that gives Alzheimer’s patients and their caregivers quality time with the art at the museum – an activity that helps those affected with the disease with recall and memory and gives caregivers a chance to interact with their loved ones outside of the roles the disease demands.
