Sarah, Francheska and Lorena created short documentaries about something they learned during the COVID-19 pandemic.
(calm instrumental music) - Talking about the pandemic is important to me because it has made me realize some things I'm grateful for, such as being able to go out to eat with my friends, go to their houses, and spend time doing movie nights and playing board games.
The college process has been more difficult than I thought it would be, which was surprising.
And then I had to put some friendships on hold due to transitioning from being virtual to in-person.
I have grown close with my family because we play Jeopardy games online through Zoom, and we recently celebrated a white-elephant Christmas thing.
I learned that it's better to take things one day at a time when life is tough and just realize this isn't forever; spend time with family because they may not be there the next day.
