When the city of brotherly love is mentioned, things like Rocky, independence, and cheesesteaks come to mind. Another very common idea is graffiti. The word graffiti was popularized in Philadelphia in the late 1960s, and is rooted in the colorful culture of the city. Though graffiti can be expressive and artistic, not all graffiti is positive.
