Young Journalists 2014: Vendor for a Day at One Step Away

One Step Away is a non-profit newspaper run and sold mostly by the homeless or formerly-homeless. In the basement of the United Methodist Church on the corner of Broad and Arch streets, vendors come and go to buy papers for 25 cents each and go out on the streets of Philadelphia to sell them for a dollar, making a profit of 75 cents.
